I'm just your average capricorn female, trying to find her way in the world. I'll be your friend if you're weird and un-needy, if you're funny, friendly and genuinely interested in others, not just yourself. I love to read and write, and in my spare time I create little bits of fiction and my own journal. I would love to be a writer of some sort. My favourite authors are Martha O'Connor, Cecily von Ziegazar, Jose Carlos Somoza and Francine Pascal (for her amazing 'Fearless' series). I've just re-discovered the gym, after a year, and I love going there now. I swim, occasionally cycle and things like martial arts, pilates, sculpt and yoga are really cool. I haven't had the chance to get into anything weird and wonderful yet, but I'd love to develop my interests in body art and buddhism, because they're just the coolest things in the world right now. As far as music goes, I love rock and punk mostly, but nothing beats those classic '90s pop tunes! My piercings add up to ten, most of them on my ears.

Shite.

My Spanish exam went truely shite. I'm not thinking about it so it's fine. It's been a nice day, kinda. I saw my friends after ages, that was nice. I'm ugly. Nark.

Green and Blacks.

The nicest chocolate, mmm!

Fourteen hours...

Of sleep has made me normal again.
Yes, I really have needed some sleep after the weekend. And now back to exams.
   Note: Exams, not revision.

The Elton John concert was really good. That man is a great performer. It was literally two solid hours of his songs. If I hadn't have been so tired, I would been at the front, jumping non-stop for the signed teeshirt.
He played Sacrifice; I can't complain.

My day has been a) short (I woke up at 12.15pm) and b) boring boring boring!!!
   I. CAN'T. WAIT. UNTIL. COLLEGE. STARTS!
And that's something I thought I'd never say.

I'm trying my hardest to get my CV near-perfect, so I can try and get some work... So I can get some money... So I can party more! : D

Hollyoaks just gets better and better.

The weekend...

Has been interesting.

An all-nighter at the Venue on Friday and a fancy dress party last night. Fun fun fun, mostly.
The Venue wasn't really 'my scene'. I'm not even going to go into detail.

The fancy dress part was hot. Costumes are the way to go for a good time. I stared too much as some of them, though! Discovering Pimms was... delightful. I even kept my boots on until bed-time.
Not that it wasn't eventful, it was great, I just can't remeber anything significant happening!

Alex's cake was delicious though. Mmm. If anyone has any pictures, I'd love to remember those costumes...

Rich Girls

Hmm, ahhh, ohhh, ug. Rich Girls on t.v.: possibly the most pointless programme ever. What the hell is it meant to be about? I'm so confused.
   Americans are so annoying.

To more pressing issues: it's 10.20am and I'm sitting here in a bikini and sun hat. Looks like it's going to be a hot day. I've opened the windows; my heating's been on since 3am this morning at 25 degrees thanks to my dad's fear of getting pneumonia. Well, it's certainly not going happen in this heat! God, it really is hot hot hot! The heating is off. So are my strawberries I bought yesterday! The sell-by date was hidden. Silly oik: is me.

I didn't have too much trouble finding a suitable 'hooker' outfit last night. In fact, I've got it nearly perfect, except my clothes aren't ripped and stained quite enough. Granted, I look absolutely horrendous and I'm a bit doubtful about going as a prostitute, but in another sense, I don't care and I've always wanted an excuse to wear my underwear on top of my clothes. Yay!
   I can't wait.

Tonight I'm meeting up with my old best friends and they're taking me to the Venue, where I've never been! You could call me a 'clubbing virgin', but I've been told they have a 'rock' room, so does that mean they'll be hardcore moshing?
   Hmm, I wonder.
So I'm really excited about tonight, as I haven't seen my 'girls' for aggggges!

Exams are soon. I keep forgetting that. Half of them are over, but I will be the happiest female when they're done! (until the next ones, obviously, which seem to be coming at me all the time!)

I'm seeing Elton John on Sunday evening. Not literally; he's performing live at Charlton Athletics Ground, which is probably the nearest concert I've ever been to. (hurry up North Greenwich and sort out your arena!) I'm being taken by my family, strangely. I'm going to wear some diamondnised-glasses with frogs on them. How cool.

To reinterate, Americans are idiots.
Although... I think I'm subconciously planning to move there. LA, baby.

Gym Girl

Yes, I am officially a Gym Girl. (I've even got the trousers to prove it!)
Jean was very nice. He was very polite about the weight. :D

This Saturday night, I am going to be a Ho Bag:

It should be an interesting evening.

Oh, and a warning to anyone thinking of buying anything sugarfree: DO NOT. And if you do, don't consume a whole pack.
My belly has lost control of it's solids. Eewww!
May 31

new beginnings...

Okay, so today is the day when everything starts afresh.

As my mother and sister have gone to stay with family in Lancaster for a couple of days, I am here alone for the most part. Today has been pretty boring. I went to school for nine a.m., which took some will-power, I assure you, as did deleting my www.myspace.com account, FINALLY! So yeah, now I feel quite free and content.

You'd think - I'd think - that being left alone at home for four days would cause me to go a bit crazy, but I feel really mellow. I've just been meditating a lot really (thankyou for the encouragement, Adam!) and I really don't feel the need to go anywhere or do anything. Also, there's the fact that the gym is pretty tiring sometimes!
I'm getting a new induction there tomorrow, from Jean, who "doesn't talk very much, but is lovely really", so that should be interesting. I hope my flab doesn't offend him too much.

Tonight sees me revising like crazy and maybe, if I'm not dead yet, catching the oh-so interesting lives of the BB7 housemates.
(Richard/ Pete to win, in case you wondered).
